Huh, I am a popular Maker/Hacker/DIY’er now?

My Office Crossbow gets some press…

A colleague of mine (Son) gave me a bunch of these things used for supports in dancing shoes so I had to figure out something to do with them.   Well it didn’t take me long to figure out they would make a nice crossbow and of course this was born:
