  • Working within in a high scaling LAMP environment on two different Yahoo! Properties - Shine (shine.yahoo.com) and Tech (tech.yahoo.com now in maintenance) focusing on Front End Technologies in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP.
  • Create user tools utilizing Flash and JavaScript to improve and engage a social user experience. These tools include voting modules, user generated photo galleries, rich text editors, and several innovative blog authoring tools (won multiple hack day awards).
  • Contributing and innovating on top of many internal and external Yahoo platforms such as YUI and Search, enhancing the platform for other users and yet provide our users a more stable experience.
  • Interact with the marketing, user design and experience, quality assurance, product, editorial and sales teams throughout the development process to ensure a well rounded timely release of products focused on its key demographic and are well maintained with continuous support from Engineering.
